Reporters from all over the world are in Las Vegas covering the Super Bowl.

But there’s been one NFL correspondent who stole the show.

Eleven-year-old Jeremiah Fennell has been making the rounds in Las Vegas this week.

He was spotted on opening night conducting interviews with Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, tight end Travis Kelce, and head coach Andy Reid.

“It’s honestly just been amazing knowing that I’m going to be able to get all these amazing opportunities and meet all these incredible people,” Fennell told KMBC this week.

Fennell is a native of Las Vegas, meaning he’s a fan of the rival Las Vegas Raiders. He’s interviewed members of the Raiders during the regular season and had a breakout moment at the 2023 Pro Bowl, which was held in Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

You can call him a veteran, as he said he never gets star-struck.

“Never, because I know deep down in my heart that they’re all people,” he said. “Just because they’re popular doesn’t mean that they’re different from everybody. So, no, I never get starstruck with people, but I do get excited to see people.”

Being a native of Las Vegas does mean he’s a Raiders fan.

“Watching the Raiders and watching all the NFL teams and seeing all the fans and all the rivalries, it’s honestly just been a great sport to watch it, a great sport and a great environment to be in,” he said.

Still, he offered congratulations to the Chiefs on the season they’ve had.

“You guys made it, so congratulations,” he said. “Because you guys are our rivals, I’m not going to be mean to any of the fans because I don’t want to be rude to anyone.”

Fennell expects Sunday’s game to be a great one.
