Barring a shocking change of heart, Jason Kelce will not be playing football during the 2024 NFL season. After a Hall of Fame-worthy 13-year career as the Philadelphia Eagles’ starting center, Kelce has decided to retire at the age of 36.

He’ll walk away having been named to six All-Pro teams, seven Pro Bowls, and of course, a Super Bowl victory. But what’s next for Kelce? He has his wildly popular ‘New Heights‘ podcast with his brother Travis Kelce, but he’ll need more ways to fill up his schedule.

One possibility is parlaying his part-time sports media career into a full-time one. If so, Kelce will have his pick of the litter.

ESPN, NBC, and CBS all want Jason Kelce to work for them

Despite being a first-team All-Pro center each of the past three seasons, Jason Kelce is calling it quits. But we knew the end of the road was near for a player who has started 193 games in his illustrious career.

Kelce isn’t an NFL free agent. Technically, the Eagles still have him under contract for another season if he chooses to play (seems very unlikely), but he is a free agent in the media world, and he’s highly sought-after.

According to The Athletic’s Andrew Marchand, Kelce will have plenty of options available if he wants to dive deeper into the sports media world.

Sources close to the situation suggest the most likely landing spots for Kelce are (in no particular order) NBC, CBS, and ESPN. Any of the above would ensure Kelce still makes millions without even having to put his body through another grueling season in the trenches with the Eagles.

Another possibility is joining Amazon, where the Kelces may be able to produce their podcast and get even better results.
