The Ballymena-born actor says in the video: “We all need help sometimes. Finding that help can be a struggle, but it doesn’t have to be.”

He continues: “You may be seeking help with depression, anxiety, addiction, illness, money worries, bereavement, abuse, family matters, or even suicidal thoughts – whatever it is, you do not have to face it alone.”

Find Help NI co-founder Pamela Kirkpatrick said the service “is a comprehensive self-help resource designed to empower individuals to take proactive steps toward wellbeing before their troubles become overwhelming”.

Co-founder Cara Swanston added: “Having Liam Neeson support our campaign in encouraging people to get the help they need, or indeed in supporting loved ones to seek the help they need, has been phenomenal.

Liam Neeson has always been very open about his own bereavement and we couldn’t think of a better person to remind people we all have struggles, but that we’re not alone.”
