Regé-Jean Page reportedly turned down a salary of $60,000 per episode for the sequel to the hit 18+ Netflix movie Bridgerton to become the next James Bond.

It has been reported that the 31-year-old actor may have been offered up to $500,000 (£363,775) to appear in the Bridgerton sequel , but Regé-Jean Page flatly refused.

Some say that the emerging actor was very shy about the acclaim and attention he received after his role as the Duke of Hastings .
