The semi-professional footballer, 24, met Chloe, 28, when they both took part in the 2021 summer series of the dating show and finished in second place.

The couple went on to date for over a year before ultimately splitting up in 2022 and after dropping hints throughout the series, Toby has now seemingly confirmed that Chloe was unfaithful.

Toby, whose first and only girlfriend was Chloe, dropped the bombshell during a game where the islanders had to decide who the public would think was most likely to cheat.

‘I don’t think I could do that to a person because I know how it hurts,’ he said. ‘Like the consequences are still hitting me from the actions of someone else and that hurts.’

He added: ‘I feel like now I’ll be scarred going into every other relationship that I go into, so I don’t think cheating, I don’t think I could ever do it. Ever in my whole life.’

Things got heated in the most recent episode of the dating show as the contestants had to rank each other on the public’s perception of them for a variety of questions.

Among some of the questions included which couple were the biggest game players, which were the most intelligent and which were most likely to cheat.

Both Adam and Josh immediately admitted they had cheated on previous partners, prompting Toby to say: ‘I will never cheat.’

‘Really Toby?’ asked Arabella, who had a fling with the footballer in 2022. ‘Sorry I’ve got to say it.’

‘I wasn’t with you though,’ Toby replied, to which Arabella said ‘No I know’ and Toby said that meant it was not cheating.

However once it was revealed the public had voted Toby and Georgia S the couple most likely to cheat, Toby spoke about his own experience – which fans were quick to point out had to be Chloe.

‘Toby unequivocally confirmed that Chloe cheated that was his first relationship, so it can only be her lool,’ one person said on X, formerly Twitter.

Another fan of the dating show said: ‘Toby fully calling Chloe out there,’ while another quizzed: ‘So Chloe DID cheat on Toby.’

Toby hinted at the infidelity earlier in the all star season as he revealed they split over ‘trust issues’, which one fan pointed out.

‘Toby has been hinting that Chloe cheated on him since they broke up but confirming it on national tv is crazy,’ they said.

After being pressed on their split by Georgia Harrison, 29, on an episode of Love Island All Stars in January, Toby said that ‘something big happened’ and he ‘didn’t trust her anymore’.

Georgia H pushed Toby for details on why he stopped trusting Chloe, to which he smirked and replied: ‘F***ing hell’.

‘It is so hard, it is one of those difficult ones isn’t it’, he added.

Georgia nudged him again to spill the beans on him and Chloe and asked if she was speaking to other people.

Toby said: ‘No like it a hard one isn’t it. The trust went. ‘

Still looking for more, Georgia begged: ‘what happened?’

Giggling under pressure, Toby replied: ‘Something happened and the trust went. I didn’t trust her anymore and personally in a relationship, if I don’t trust them any more it is done.’
