First, Key made fun of the NFL’s worst team with a Swift tie-in before unloading on former Patriots head coach Bill Belichick with a mention of the pop star.
‘Taylor Swift is in Tokyo right now. The only thing farther from the Super Bowl is the Carolina Panthers,’ Key joked.
‘Who would’ve thought we’d see a season where Taylor Swift went to more playoff games than Bill Belichick?’ Key added, getting huge laughs from the crowd.

The NFL Honors was held on Thursday, when all of the league’s year-end awards were given out
After Key finished his Belichick joke, CBS’ cameras cut to Patriots owner Robert Kraft in the audience, who looked equally hurt and entertained.
Key is a diehard Detroit Lions fan and gave his team and some of its players in the crowd a shoutout before his next rib.
The Lions won their first playoff games since the 1991 season and held a halftime lead in the NFC Championship game.
‘The last time the Lions were this good was 1991 and back then, Eminem was still a candy, I still had hair, and Jerry Jones was a spry 81 years old,’ said Key, as the cameras panned to a currently-81-year-old Jones in the crowd smiling.
Key also gave a shoutout to Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, saying his time will come to be in a Super Bowl when he starts catching more of his own passes.
Key also listed names of all the successful backup quarterbacks to play this season, with the made-up name ‘Ew Goobley’ in the middle to see if anyone noticed.
