It was an unexpected day for the Djokovic’s family! This was long before the Nole tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend and now wife, Jelena. The couple has been blessed with two adorable kids,  son Stefan  and daughter Tara . But the news of their first pregnancy was far from ordinary. They both went through an emotional rollercoaster ride that day.

Nole is known for surprising his fans on the field. But, once, it was Jelena who surprised him with the news. A couple of years back, in a question-answer round, Jelena Djokovic revealed how she broke the pregnancy news to her beloved husband, Novak. And, the story about their special day is pretty interesting.

Jelena once took part in an Instagram ‘Q&A‘ round, offering her fans an opportunity to ask her any burning questions during her ‘Whatcha wanna know??‘ segment. Among the many inquiries, a fan asked about how she informed Nole about her pregnancy (her first pregnancy).

Her response was intriguing, “Actually, once I read the pregnancy test wrong……told him, hey I just took a pregnancy test, it’s negative.” However, she then added, “I had that weird feeling, and then I went back in, and when I read it, it was positive.”

Jelena went on to recount the intense mix of emotions she experienced when she discovered she was pregnant with Noel’s child. Overwhelmed by the realization, she couldn’t contain her tears and found herself in a state of panic. Novak, attuned to her distress, rushed to her side, offering unwavering support and reassurance. His sweetness, support, and genuine excitement about the news helped ease her fears. And how he cared for her during that first pregnancy is a testament to his capabilities as a good husband.

When the couple had to live separately Patrick has always been a beloved husband to her and a devoted father to their children. Despite their deep love and togetherness, there was a time when Jelena and Novak chose to sleep in separate rooms.

He went on to explain, “When I went home over the weekend, I slept in a separate, different bedroom,” just to keep family safe. He also mentioned that he had received negative pregnancy test results multiple times before and wanted to prioritize the safety of his family by avoiding any potential risks or complications during that period. During that time, nole did everything a dedicated husband and father should do, which is likely why Jelena considers him a ‘perfect man.
