Spencer is one of the notable works at the Venice Film Festival. The film explores the topic of the British Royal Family, revolving around the early 1990s, when Princess Diana ( played by Kristen Stewart ) thought about divorcing Prince Charles. The project brings together stars Timothy Spall, Sally Hawkins and Sean Harris. Chilean filmmaker Pablo Larraín – who was nominated for an Oscar for “No and Jackie” – serves as director.

In the trailer released on August 26, Kristen Stewart reveals Diana’s feelings before deciding to divorce. In contrast to the magnificent party scene, she was worried, stressed and miserable. At the end of the video, Diana expressed resistance to the Royal Family by asserting that they could not foresee what was about to happen. The project is expected to hit theaters in early November, the 25th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death.
