Bollywood’s most adored couple, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, had broken the internet with their absolutely dreamy wedding pictures last month. The couple had set the bar high for other brides-to-be and grooms-to-be, and had given major couple goals. We were over the moon when we had witnessed Katrina in her gorgeous nayi dulhan avatar, and we were utterly in love. Moreover, their lavish wedding had made us eager to take the plunge and had made us feel single.

The then-to-be-married couple had always kept their personal life private and had preferred to stay tight-lipped. However, they had often dropped hints on their social media handles and had left it on their fans to connect the dots. And now, that the much in love couple, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, had become each other’s forever, we can’t get enough of them. However, did you know that back in 2018, Katrina had felt super single and left behind when Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra had got married?

In an interview with Filmfare, in 2018, Katrina Kaif had stated that she felt as single as she could possibly be. She had pointed out that after her fellow actresses, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra had tied the knot, she didn’t want to be left behind.  She had humorously exclaimed:

“Everyone’s getting married, I’m like, ‘Don’t leave me behind’. It’s like everyone’s gone ahead of you, and you’re like, ‘Wait for me!’”

Further in the interview, when Katrina was asked about what she had wanted in 2019, she had expressed that she had wished to get a boyfriend. She had also mentioned the three qualities that a man should have in order to win her attention. She had listed down:

“Just make sure I am aware that you want it. A sense of humour is really important, and maybe smell good.”

Now, Katrina Kaif is happily married to actor, Vicky Kaushal. Well, did you know that Katrina Kaif was not sure of marrying Vicky Kaushal and had given a condition before accepting his marriage proposal? Yes, that’s right. After two months of dating each other, Vicky had decided that Katrina was the one for him, but the actress wasn’t so sure of it. A close source to the couple had revealed to Rediff.com:

“It was all so sudden… their meeting, courtship, romance, marriage. Vicky decided with two months of their relationship that she was the woman he wanted to spend his life with. Katrina was less sure. She was still hurting from the wounds of her previous break-up. She liked Vicky, but she needed time.”

The source had further mentioned that even though the Sooryavanshi actress, Katrina had liked Vicky very much, she wasn’t sure about getting married and thus had given a pre-condition to the actor. The source was quoted as saying:

“He pursued her until she said yes to marriage. But she put forward one precondition. He had to give her family, her mother and siblings, the same love and respect he gives her.”

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal had got married on December 9, 2021, at Six Senses Fort Barwara, in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan.
